Something fun for my bathroom

When my mother passed away, 14 years ago this fall,

I inherited her cotton ball jar.  

  I have lovingly used her jar in my bathroom.

This summer I gave that jar to one of my daughters.

Her bathroom is decorated in pinks and Mom's

jar had pink designs in it. (My bathroom is blue)

I decided I wanted a vintage jar to hold my cotton

balls but I just hadn't  found the right jar....

until now!

This is an antique canning jar with a glass from IKEA

on top !

I had my grandmother's antique canning jar and

the IKEA glass!! 

Whoop-tee-do!

My problem is solved and I love it!
